Base Camp Leasing has an 89-acre hunting lease available for immediate lease in Schuler County, New York. This hunting lease is located in WMU (8W) and about 10 miles SW of Watkins Glenn. This hunting lease is bordered to the south by 900 acres plus state forest. Part of the east border is also by the state forest. I saw plenty of buck sign and some turkey sign on my inspection. The road into the property is a no outlet seasonal road. There is a landing about halfway through the property where you can park and potentially put a camper. There are a lot of oak trees on this lease. I found numerous rubs from last year as i walked around this property. This lease will hunt big. There are several established trails for ATV/ UTV (you are allowed to maintain). Toward the east border and north of the road is a seasonal snowmobile trail. They cannot use till after deer season. This area is known for some good bucks, great deer population and better than average turkey population. The hunting lease is posted on both sides of access road (you can repost property). ATV use is allowed for hunting purposes. Camping is allowed but camper must be removed at end of deer season.
